your information, respected

How we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit our website, book with us or buy tickets.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Who we are

Vijgeboomsdrift is a trading name of Coroforce (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2020/164386/07, on the R524 just outside Louis Trichardt. We are the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy, and we follow the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

We only collect what we need. This includes:

  • Information you give us when you book a table, enquire about venue hire, a birthday party or accommodation, or contact us: your name, phone number, email address, dates, number of guests and anything you write in your message.
  • Order details when you buy tickets: your name, contact details, billing details asked for at checkout, the event, and the tables or tickets you choose.
  • Technical information when you use the website, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, and cookies that keep your cart working.

Payments are processed by Payfast. We do not see or store your full card details.

How we use your information

  • To answer your enquiries and confirm your bookings.
  • To process ticket orders, send your order confirmation and manage seating and entry at events.
  • To keep the financial and tax records the law requires.
  • To keep the website secure and working well.
  • To send you news or offers, only if you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers who help us run the business and the website, and only as far as they need it, for example:

  • our website hosting provider and Cloudflare, which helps keep the site fast and secure
  • Payfast, which processes online payments
  • our email delivery service, which sends order and form emails
  • Google, when you view the map on our contact page

We may also share information where the law requires it.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, such as keeping items in your cart and keeping you logged in. Some third-party features, such as the Google map, may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the website, such as checkout, may then not work.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or for as long as the law requires, for example for tax and accounting records. After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

How we protect it

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information, including a secure (HTTPS) connection on our website. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to act quickly if anything goes wrong.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You may also object to us using it, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without the consent of a parent or guardian. When you book a children’s party, the information comes from you as the parent or organiser.

Other websites

Our website links to other websites, such as social media, review sites and ticket pages run by outside organisers. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
